so just a quick new years rant about that jackass in the white house. here is a guy who had an 89% approval rating in the weeks following 9.11.01 and the sympathy and goodwill of the entire civilised world. within a year he and 'adolph' ashcroft had trampled over so many civil rights here in the US, and shit on so many people overseas that now Americans cannot even travel abroad without enduring comments about him and his policies.

i supported the war in Afghanistan and even though critical of the Iraq affair supported that at the beginning. but it is time for us to seek a different direction in the 'war on terror' because all we are doing is inflaming the world against us and killing our own people to give democracy to a people who don't even have the first inkling of what democracy is.

don't get me wrong. i am glad saddam is gone. in fact, i gave a little cheer when i heard they let him swing yesterday, but enough is enough. let's get out of there before another 3000 american mean and women die.
